M-61 SuperSoothe E collection is part of the technical in-house skincare line by Bluemercury. Initially the brand caught my attention due to the statement that their founder Marla “took Bluemercury’s thirteen years of experience of performing nearly 100,000 spa treatments every year and blended that with input from more than 300 makeup artists and estheticians in Bluemercury stores”. Any Esthetician’s interest would be piqued, right? Due to my skin sensitivities and many of M-61’s products containing exfoliants, I opted to try their collection for people with
high maintenance sensitive skin. All M-61 products are paraben-free, synthetic fragrance-free, dermatologist and allergy tested.
Perfect Cleanse is a gentle, no frills cleanser for all skin types with mild foaming action, vitamin E, lavender, and green tea. I can hardly detect any scent, so unless you have a strong sense of smell you won’t have any aroma issues. The gentle cleanser washes away impurities and makeup while sealing in the skin’s natural moisture. Vitamin E helps strengthen the skin’s barrier while green tea calms.
The cleanser is quite boring, but it’s supposed to be. If your skin tends to be aggravated, prone to breakouts and irritable with acne cleansers, or you need a gentle second cleanse option Perfect Cleanse is worthy. The gel base is a nice alternative to many of the gentle cream based cleansers out there, like Cerave and Cetaphil. A little bit goes a long way, unlike your typical drugstore find.

SuperSoothe E Cream is a soothing, oil-free moisturizing cream designed for all skin types. Antioxidant vitamin E, aloe and licorice root help soothe, hydrate and nourish the skin. Goldenberry naturally contains vitamin C and A, and combined with seaweed and peptides maintains elasticity and promotes water retention in the skin. Again, the aroma is very light.
While this cream is targeted for all skin types it is emollient rich and felt to be a little much for my combo-oily skin. If you lean towards being oily avoid this cream unless you’re using products that dehydrate you. If so, SuperSoothe E Cream would make a fantastic night cream to replenish your skin and restore its barrier.

SuperSoothe E Shave Cream is an extra gentle, soothing cream with vitamin E, aloe, goldenberry, seaweed, and cooling camphor and menthol. The BF loves this stuff. This cream is best for facial shaving… not body. Not that it can’t be used for body, but the ingredients make for a nice facial shave.
TMI: I’m sensitive, every where. I had no issues with burning, tingling, eczema, etc. However, after consistently using this I experienced flaky, dry patches of skin. The BF hasn’t experienced any problems, but he isn’t a hot mess like myself.
