Lately, I’ve gotten into soaking in the tub with lush bath salts, which is 100% a new thing for me. Sharing a bathroom with your BF doesn’t exactly make for a tranquil setting. He’ll counter that my long hairs shed like crazy but curly man hair floating?! Ugh, freakin’ pass. I loathe having to clean the tub every time I want to light candles and chill.
But I find soaking with these bath salts from Amazon really relaxes me and as bad as I am about caring for my body, they’re becoming pretty vital. I spin regularly, hardly stretch, and it doesn’t take long to start taking a toll on your bod. So, here I am, cleaning the man-remnants out of the bathtub.
I’ve started incorporating deep stretch aka nap time yoga to my routine again, plus a nice long soak. This is how I stumbled upon San Francisco Salt Co. bath salts on Amazon. Until now, I’ve only used cheapo CVS Epsom salt and I can’t believe the difference!
Light a few candles, put on How to Get Away With Murder, and melt away. I legit feel like I’ve had a full body massage after a relaxing yoga sesh combined with some Epsom salt or mineral salt. Sometimes I get crazy and mix them together, or add a few scoops of exfoliating lavender milk bath for silky soft skin. The milk bath is so awesome.
San Francisco Salt Co. bath salts cost a little more than your drugstore finds, but the difference in quality is obvious once you try them. I measure out exactly how much I use per bath, practicing conservation and not overusing. The variety they offer is insane, too! All sorts of aromas, you can create an epic at-home spa session with ease. Put it on your Amazon to-buy list and thank me later.
