As much as we love a luxurious experience, sometimes we need affordable beauty products that are friendly toward our wallet. Whether our beauty budget is lower one month than the next or we’re saving pennies to buy a trendy potion we’ve had our eyes on, there’s something for everyone on this list. From skincare, haircare to body care, we cover it all.
Our list of favorite and best affordable beauty products includes names you may recognize and others that may be new. Some you’ll find at drugstores like CVS while others you’ll more easily hunt down in stories like Amazon and Vitacost. Personally, we prefer shopping online so we can take advantage of stacking deals and get the most out of our dollar.
Heritage Store Rosewater
While indulging in a luxurious botanical hydrosol to hydrate our skin is a splurge we can get down with, it’s definitely not cost-effective. If you’re looking for an affordable alternative, Heritage Store’s Rosewater hydrosol won’t break the bank. The best part? It’s incredibly effective in helping hydrate our skin. We have mixed feelings on rose, but the aroma is so light it doesn’t bother those of us who aren’t typically fans.
There are two versions: rosewater and rosewater with glycerin. If you live in a dry climate, travel often, or experience chronic dry skin, try the glycerin formula to help your skin better hold on to moisture.
Versed Zero-G Smoothing Eye Cream
When it comes to eye creams, we’re pretty dang picky. To find a solid affordable beauty product usually leaves us frustrated and empty-handed. That is, until now with Versed Skincare’s Zero-G smoothing eye cream. Soothing and hydrating with a firming peptide added in the mix, this eye cream helps us look more bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on days we’re struggling to hide the dark circles and bags. It’s legit the best affordable eye cream we’ve managed to find (and we’ve been hunting for a while).
Zenda Naturals Beauty Sponge
If you love the idea of a Beauty Blender but can’t stomach handing over $20 for a simple sponge, we don’t blame you. We found this affordable alternative on Amazon and never looked back. And honestly, we can’t tell a damn difference between this budget-friendly sponge vs. everyone’s favorite splurge.

Leven Rose Pure Jojoba Oil
Oil cleansing is our jam when it comes to removing our makeup and sunscreen for the day. No lie, a gorgeous oil cleanser with a killer sensory experience gets us going, but unfortunately, they’re rarely affordable beauty products. That’s why we love Leven Rose Pure Jojoba Oil because it takes us back to the basics in the best possible way. It won’t break the bank, glides like a dream, and works equally as well cleansing as it does as a face massage oil.
Because of its unique waxy profile, Jojoba Oil is balancing for all skin types. Whether you’re acne-prone, oily, or weary of using oil to cleanse your skin, Leven Rose is great for anyone and everyone. Just keep an eye out for skin sensitivity.
Cotz Prime & Protect SPF
Many sunscreens we love aren’t exactly wallet-friendly. Not to mention a good quality mineral sunscreen with a welcoming price tag is hard to come by. That said, say hello to one of the best affordable products you’ll find! Cotz creates high-quality mineral sunscreens, from tinted to none, so you’re bound to find the perfect formula without compromising your skin health.
Alba Botanica Very Emollient Bath & Shower Gel
Do you suffer from dry skin on your body? Or maybe your skin feels sensitive, irritated, or weird patches are popping up. If you’ve been trying to figure out what’s going on with your skin, evaluate your body wash. It’s one of the last considerations we take when our skin is doing funky things and more often than not, switching to a clean, healthy body wash can cure ailments. The same goes for the handsoap you keep on hand.
Whether you’re looking to clean up your body products or feel like something is off with your skin, Alba Botanica’s lush formula and invigorating scents will ensure you never go back to Dove again. They also make a really great shave lotion that lasts way longer than the foaming OG we grew up with.
La Roche Posay Hylau B5 Serum
One ingredient all the skin savvy folks can get behind is hyaluronic acid. And for good reason! Hyaluronic acid holds 1000x its weight in water, is a natural component of our skin, and helps keep our skin hydrated, plump, and smooth. While Hylau B5 serum isn’t the most elegant formula, it gets the job done like a boss. So, we can look past the slightly sticky feel that goes away once we apply our moisturizer. Plus the aroma takes us back to shopping the European pharmacy.
Bliss Mighty Marshmallow Mask
Finally, you can now end your hunt for a cheap beauty mask that won’t destroy your skin! We’re looking at you, Aztec Clay. This pink concoction is a broke girl’s affordable beauty product dream. Light, whipped, and easy to apply (and take off!), Bliss Mighty Marshmallow Mask helps hydrate our skin while illuminating and brightening our dull, lackluster tone. It’s legit the best pick me up for your complexion and costs under $15. Seriously, you can thank us later.
Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gelly
Lily of the Desert isn’t your typical aloe vera. Unlike most, it’s actually loaded with skin-loving ingredients like polysaccharides, antioxidants from vitamin A, C, D, and E in addition to aloe. So, what does this mean for your skin? Well, it’s essentially a nutrient-packed hydrating mask that works to soothe your skin post sunburn or rehydrate your skin throughout the week. If you don’t feel hyaluronic acid works for you or you live in a dry climate, this gelly is your new BFF.
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
The OG of affordable beauty products, Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion is a mainstay for many prone to breakouts. It’s quite simple: dab a q-tip into the jar to spot treat pimples overnight and wake up to a smaller, less angry zit. Combining calamine and sulfur with traditional salicylic acid makes this a classic acne treatment.
Just be sure you’re using a nourishing moisturizer to rebalance your skin so your breakout can continue to heal well once it’s dried up. Pro-tip: when paired with SPF, this helps your acne heal better so your acne marks aren’t nearly as bad.
Here’s a trend we can get behind: velvet scrunchies! Thanks to Amazon, it’s easier than ever to stock up on a killer set of scrunchies to keep locks out of your face on a hot summer day. Not to mention they’re way more affordable than Target or Ulta Beauty and can be purchased in sets of 6, 12, and 24. Which means we have a color for every outfit, because accessories.

Intrinsics Silken Wipes
We’ve sung our loves song to Intrinsics Silken Wipes a number of times, so you know we had to include them here. A professional only product available through Amazon, Intrinsics wipes will save you money in the long run. That’s because they don’t waste precious elixirs like Lotion P50 or other liquid products you typically use with a cotton pad. However, if you have sensitive skin or use hard to remove stubborn products, these wipes will treat your skin kindly. And that mask that’s a total nightmare to remove? Easy peasy.

Weleda Skin Food
This wouldn’t be a list of affordable beauty products without including the cult favorite, Weleda Skin Food. Chances are you’ve seen this green tube on your IG feed at least a few times. Skin Food is a major multi-tasker from head to toe. Use it as a healing balm for dry elbows and heels, slap on as a primer before your makeup, or add into your evening routine. A lesser-known beauty hack: dab a bit on the high points of your face for an au naturale highlight!
Yu-Be Lip Balm
Finding the perfect lip balm can be tough. Sometimes our lips need more than oils and butters to feel soft and smooth. Yu-Be’s secret weapon in the formula is glycerin, helping soothe our chapped, dry lips all year long.
La Roche Posay Hydrating Gentle Cleanser
Next up we have our all-time favorite drugstore cleanser: La Rocha Posay Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. No frills and straight to the point, this cleansers texture is light and milky with no heavy after-feel. Plus the ingredients help support our skin barrier and heal our complexions from over-exfoliating.
This affordable beauty product is ideal for normal to dry skin types, anyone who experiences regular dryness or dehydration, and those who are prone to overusing acids and retinoids.
Not Your Mothers Dry Shampoo
Our last best affordable beauty product is a cult favorite from Not Your Mother’s. When it comes to dry shampoos, our go-to is the classic Klorane found in French pharmacies. Unfortunately, we can’t hop on a plane any time our stash runs low. That’s where Not Your Mother’s swoops in to save our hair while we mourn the loss of our luxurious favorite.
Unlike most cheap dry shampoos, Not Your Mother’s doesn’t feel heavy or leave a grainy texture behind. In addition, many of the aromas are actually quite pleasant without being reminiscent of chemicals.
