What I Buy Over & Over & Over Again

We all have them, favorite products we continue to purchase over and over again. Maybe we stray and try a new flavor of the week, but we return loyally. While I’ve met several products in the last year I’ll continue to repurchase these are my holy grail staples I’ve used for years, literally. Lots of hearts. You’ve heard me talk about each of these several times, minus the Bumble & Bumble spray…unless you follow me on IG.

Skinceuticals Phloretin CF

On year 7 and counting, I contribute much of my even complexion to Skinceuticals AOX. I have minimal sun damage on the surface, it’s been my mission to beat all of my years in the sun to the punch. Using a BA antioxidant serum is one of the best ways to do so. There’s a reason why your Dermatologist and every other skincare professional professes their love of Skinceuticals. Their products work, and sometimes efficacy comes at a price.

Hydropeptide Eye Authority

Ever since my first introduction I’ve been cult-like loyal. I’ve tried others and I always come back… An eye cream that can do it all: dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and wrinkles disappear while texture, brightening, and hydration improve. Eye Authority does it all, transforming your eyes in the process.

Sothys Desquacrem

I met Desquacrem years ago in esthetics school and we’re only apart for a few monthsnmax. When we reunite it feels sooo good! A deep-pore cleansing cream that works magic de-gunking pores without any exfoliants, so you can pretty much use it as often as you like. Your skin is softened and extractions come out like butter.  Be wary of Amazon fakes!

Shangpree Crystal BB Cream

I’ve been hard-pressed to find an American BB Cream that wears as flawlessly as Shangpree. Just enough coverage to hide acne scars, a dewy finish, and it actually makes my skin look better when I remove it? Forever yours, Shangpree. I still have my original bottle from over a year ago, it’s lasted that long! Crystal BB Cream can be difficult to get your hands. Exclusively sold through Peach & Lily, and your safest best for receiving legit product. There are quite a few listings on eBay but shop at your own risk! Research the sellers before deciding whether or not it’s worth the risk.

Bumble & Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish

My hair stylist never steers me wrong in the hair department, every suggestion from Bumble & Bumble is epic. I have fine hair that goes limp and sad within an hour of a blowout. Big hair don’t care? Not happening over here. Dryspun makes me feel like I can fake it. The fab spray thickens, adds volume and texture to give that sexy bed head look. Worth every penny, you guys.

Biologique Recherche Lotion P50V 1970

Once you go P50 you never go back. P50 is an acid exfoliating toner coined as being a facial in a bottle, and the hype is real. Your skin tone will brighten, scars will fade, acne reduced, and you will have the glowiest glow of all. Your retailer options are limited if you don’t have a local supplier. Just make sure you purchase cotton pads that won’t waste your product!
Snag: Rescue Spa

Coola Sport SPF 50 Classic Sunscreen

My fave body SPF of all time! I love that it’s a moisturizer combined with sun protection with yummy scents like mango, or  I can opt for unscented. It doesn’t feel like a sunscreen and definitely leans more towards a moisturizer without sticky residue. I mean, what else can I really say about a sunscreen? It covers all the basis like an MVP.

What do you guys buy over and over again??

Into it? You'll love this, too!

  1. Before buying products do you look at a site like Beautypedia? Or what do you look at before buying ? Thanks.

    1. In the past I’ve used Beautypedia, sometimes I’ll even reference it to fact check myself on certain ingredients, but I take what I read on there with a grain of salt. Some of their reviews and opinions I don’t agree with.

      1. Thank you for your timely reply. So how do you know what to buy? Do you prefer going to Sephora or drugstore if you didn’t have the online option?

        1. After years of being in the industry all of that knowledge sits in a bank in the back of my mind! I shop online now because brands I want aren’t readily available in stores. One store isn’t better than another, it comes down to what you’re looking for. I hardly shop at Sephora anymore but by no means does that reflect the products they sell, my preferences have just changed.
